A message from the conductor
In the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble, we wholeheartedly believe that live music creates and sustains a sense of community among people, and it is a gift that all people deserve. Your donation to RIWE is an investment in the artistic soul of our entire state. With the power of your financial contributions, we can bring in world-class guest soloists, collaborate with renowned artists, commission new and innovative works for band, and hold exceptional collaborative performances with other community ensembles.
Your donation to the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble makes you an integral part of our efforts to provide audiences of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds access to live music of the highest quality. Every dollar counts, and we offer various donation levels and recognition options to express our deepest appreciation for your support. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make an impact on our community. Join us on this incredible journey, and together, let's create melodies that resonate far and wide!
Sincerely,

Many ways to support RIWE
The Rhode Island Wind Ensemble is a 501-C3 non-profit organization that relies on contributions to maintain its viability. Your gift in any of the categories highlighted below will help us fulfill our mission. Questions? Email us riwe@riwe.org! Thank you!
Capital Campaign
We are raising money for a new set of timpani! Donations will be matched dollar for dollar. We are counting on our loyal followers, audience members, and friends to raise the balance needed between now and October 15th, when our campaign ends.
Concert Sponsorship
Because RIWE does not charge admission to our concerts, we depend on the generosity of concert sponsors like yourself to continue bringing musical excellence to the Ocean State. Since RIWE is a non-profit 501-C3 organization, your support is tax-deductible. If you would like to sponsor one of our concerts, your generosity will be gratefully acknowledged. Concert sponsorships begin at $100.
RIWE General Fund
Our normal operating expenses include rehearsal hall rental, music purchase, equipment transport, insurance, and conductor salary. If you have heard us and enjoyed our music, you can help to maintain the excellence of this ensemble by making a tax-deductible contribution in any amount. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and will be listed on our website.
Band Instrument Repair Drive (BIRD)
Cleaning and repairing an instrument can cost between $50-$200. Used band instruments donated to the BIRD are serviced by trained repair techs before being donated to school band programs in need, and we rely on your tax-deductible contributions to the BIRD repair fund to pay the techs for their services. Read more about the BIRD here.
