Newport’s annual Winter Festival serves as the setting for the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble’s annual performance in the spacious and elegant Marriott Hotel atrium. Step back in time on Sunday, February 16th at 7:00 pm as we present “Newport’s Greatest Hits,” a free concert of classical music from Europe, socialite songs of The Gilded Age, military marches, and music of the island’s indigenous people. Our friends in the Block Island Sound Brass Quintet will join us, too! Donations will support Historic Music of Newport, a nonprofit whose cultural preservation efforts are dedicated to telling Newport’s story through its music. We hope to see you there!
