Thank you and the RI Wind Ensemble for the glorious concert which honored Armenian composers and music. I received so many messages of praise for the event! I was so happy I attended the concert today at Scituate High School! Everything about the day was memorable, from honoring well deserved residents, to the soloist, and then the wonderful music performed by the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble. When you hear the Wind Ensemble perform for a few hours you forget about all the problems going on the in world and just enjoy the moment and the holiday season.
What a treat to have such a skilled ensemble so accessible. Keep it up!
The performance was a delightfully unexpected masterpiece.
Seamen’s Church Institute of Newport was the beneficiary of a concert on February 19th performed by the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble at the Newport Marriott as part of Winter Fest. The performance to a full house was wonderful! The selection of music to the One World theme was imaginative, compelling and performed beautifully. Seamen’s is very grateful to the RIWE for our continued collaboration. It is a unique way to get our message of service out to the wider community and we look forward to continuing this terrific partnership in the future.

‘Musik ist Poesie ans luft. Music is the poetry of air.’ (Goethe) A fitting simile truly actualized by the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble. Thank you/Danka/Mahalo for the wonderful concert!!!
Beautiful & imaginative music! Bravo!!!!!
It was a tremendous pleasure to conduct my work “Flowing Pens from Concord” with the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble this past Sunday. The musicianship rose to the occasion, and the audience was treated to a stellar performance of the work. As I commonly say, my work is only as good as it is played; the ensemble certainly made me sound good. Thank you for all your hard work, capable musicianship, and all the other things you do to make community bands thrive.
